Job Description:
Science Teacher required for a 14-16 provision in Tower Hamlets, we require a motivational and knowledgeable Science Teacher.
* Science Teacher
* Year 10 and Year 11 students
* To start: September 2024
* Long term - On-going.
* £150 to £250 per day depending on experience
This provision provides a programme to Year 10 and Year 11 student who are home-educated and can access their GCSE and Pre GCSE part time provision up to 15 hours per week. Situated in the Tower Hamlets campus, they have state-of-the-art facilities including a library, IT suites and Science labs. The small class settings allow teachers to provide targeted support to students and maintain high levels of expectations.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement lesson plans that fulfil the requirements of the curriculum program.
* Plan, prepare, and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning.
* Assess and record students’ progress and provide grades and feedback.
* The college offers a pastoral support programme alongside all curriculums for all students which supports their emotional and academic well-being, this ensures students are balanced and focussed and able to produce their best work in lessons. Supporting the learning and attainment within class.
