Job Description:
EAC are representing a Market Leading Independent Insurance Broker who are on the lookout for an Insurance Consultant to join their Team. You will dealing with Large cases with an income of roughly 200-250k.
If you are an experienced Insurance Consultant looking for your next opportunity, then this could be the role for you. The office is based in Bedford but the Client offers a hybrid set-up.
On offer for Insuance Consultant:
* Salary £35,000 - £38,000
* Mon & Fri working from home
* Hours 8:30-5:00pm
* 26 days annual leave + Bank Holiday’s
* Further Training if required (CII)
Duties for the Insurance Consultant:
* To ensure that documentation is accurate and correct
* To issue clients with documentation in an efficient manner & chase insurers for outstanding documents
* To advise insurers of mid term adjustments and to process the necessary documentation to the client.
* To ensure that presentations to insurers are prepared for quotations to prospective clients.
* To carry out the broking of new business risks
* To ensure that renewals are processed accurately and in good time.
* To carry out re broking of any renewal business as required.
* To deal professionally and efficiently with enquiries and queries from both insurers and clients.
* To liaise with insurers and underwriters to ensure that business opportunities are identified and the business relationships are maintained.
* Provide management information and reports to the Directors as required.
* To maintain client files using the agreed procedure.
* Ensure that the Company’s compliance policies are adhered to and Client info up to date.
* To raise client debit notes for despatch to the client.
* To ensure that finance administration is completed by the client in a timely manner.
* To ensure that client outstanding monies are received within the agreed timescales and to liaise with and actively support credit control
* To investigate and resolve account queries as required.
Ideal Insurance Consultant:
* CII Qualified
* Comfortable dealing with Large & Complex Cases
* Strong Communication both written and verbal
* Positive and committed attitude
