Job Description:
Senior Salmon are recruiting for Upholsterer Machinists in the Ilkeston area. The ideal candidates will have experience within upholstery and soft furnishings.
The Job
Machining of various types of fabric according to specification; whilst meeting production and quality standards.
Job duties/Skills;
• A High degree of machining skills, including lockstitch, overlock, welting, twin needle and top stitch.
• A strong eye for detail and quality with the ability to pattern match fabrics and ensure seam sizes are matched.
• Previous experience of using a DURKOPP Adler machine or similar.
• Previous experience of sewing upholstery including caravan seats, backrests, scatters and bolsters.
• A strong machining background with a keen eye to detail.
• Be flexible in their approach to work with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
• Demonstrate reliability and be able to work as part of a team.
• Committed to achieving the targets of the department whilst working safely and in full compliance with the health and safety requirements of the department.
Working hours;
Monday – Thursday, 7.00am – 16:00pm

Payrate;
£14.90ph
