Senior Quantity Surveyor
Our client, a leading residential developer based in the North West, are recruiting a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team. They’re a very exciting developer who are on track to be delivering a minimum of 600 units a year by the end of 2026.
The Senior QS will be working on new build residential projects across the North West with values of up to £40m.
Procurement will be a major part of the role, including negotiating packages of work with our subcontractors and supply chain partners.
What we’re looking for:
* An established Senior Quantity Surveyor who has worked with a top tier developer or contractor.
* You must have experience within the residential sector, preferably within multi-phased development and high-rise projects
* Ability to handle and manage own workload
* BSc in Quantity Surveying or similar
* Competent in use of standard methods of measurement
* Valid driving license
The responsibilities of the Senior Quantity Surveyor:
* Review incoming tenders, specifications and contract documentation to analyse risk
* Prepare and deliver detailed, qualified, well presented tender submissions
* Attend pre-tender site visits, and undertake site surveys
* Be proficient using the software.
* Conduct site visits & price up scoping documents
* Make quality decisions to maximise opportunities
* Negotiate with clients to secure contracts
* Attend pre-contract client meetings, as required
* Manage subcontractor packages & produce a programme of works
* Produce valuations, variations and final accounts
