Job Description:
I am excited to be representing an award-winning UK private equity business to appoint a Director of People and Culture. This organisation is successful due to its collaborative approach to working with businesses across the UK offering tailored learning solutions across professional service accreditations.
About the role..
As the business continues to grow, they are seeing a strategic and solution-focused Director of People and Culture to lead the HR function. You will develop, lead and coach the team to manage change effectively and with a people focused HR agenda. As a key member of the leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing and leading on all HR practices and shaping the people agenda to align with the organisations ambitious business objectives.
You will be looking after key areas such as talent management, employee engagement, strategic leadership, culture and engagement and performance alongside the full generalist remit. This is a great opportunity to build, create and own the HR strategy in a growing UK business to ensure its people can continue to thrive in a high performing culture.
As the business grows through merger and acquisition you and your team will be responsible for delivering on the due diligence and post-merger cultural integration work. This is a very exciting time to join the business with expected double growth in the next 18 months.
About you..
As an experienced senior HR professional, you will have ideally worked within a PE backed business within your career and supported company growth from a HR perspective. You will have managed a HR team and worked across the full HR generalist remit. You must be able to demonstrate your experience working on merger and acquisitions and the due diligence required. You will have a proven track record of strategic HR leadership and organisational design and development.
You will have supported senior stakeholders and demonstrate your about to lead and inspire teams through significant change and growth. As an experienced generalist you will have significant experience across employee relations and an excellent understanding of UK employment law. As a multi-sited business, you will understand the nature of working with a dispersed workforce and build a culture that supports all employees this will include building a EDI strategy that is inclusive for all.
Working within a business that focuses on supporting its clients to upskill and develop their people you will naturally have an interest in your own continued professional development and be able to demonstrate this within your role and past experiences.
Location: London, hybrid working
Salary: £100k - £110k + benefits. Flexible working options.
