Job Description:
Accounts Assistant required for a temporary to permanent opportunity working for a well established business based in Birmingham

This role is to start immediately, you must be available to start asap to be considered for this opportunity.

Key Responsibilities :
* Day to day running of the Accounts payable
* Responsible for the posting of invoices / credit notes to the system
* Matching invoices to purchase orders
* Payment of invoices
* Prepare monthly supplier statement reconciliations
* Cash allocation
* Journals
* Respond to supplier queries and requests for information

Key Requirements :
* Previous experience in Accounts Assistant role preferred
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel
* Excellent data entry and organisational skills
