Job Description:
We are looking for an Administrator to work in the registration office at Kingswood Civic Centre in Bristol.
Monday to Friday 09:00am - 17:00pm.
This is a contract running from August until January 2025.
Duties will include:
* General administration duties, dealing with incoming customer calls over the phone and in person.
* Making appointments for registration of births, deaths and notices of marriage or civil partnership.
* Extensive use of IT (Microsoft Office and Registration Programmes)
* Taking payments for ceremonies over the phone.
* Copy certificates for incoming applications.
* Register marriages at the register office.
The ideal candidate will have the following experience:
* 5 GSCE’s or equivalent experience including English and Maths.
* Competent with Microsoft Office programs to include Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint.
* Good organisational and communication skills.
* Excellent customer service skills.
* Ability to follow procedures, policies and organisational frameworks.
* Some form of administration experience.
* Must be fluent in English with neat handwriting.
