Job Description:
Our client Nottingham City Council is seeking two social workers for its Mental Health service and offering £35.80 umbrella for experienced workers.
Mental Health North - 12 weeks initially
Mental Health South - to 31/03/25
Details below:
* The Mental Health Social Care Teams are specialist teams that commission and review a wide variety of packages of care for citizens who are in contact with secondary mental health services, with the aim of promoting independence and wellbeing.
* In addition to undertaking initial assessments and submitting packages of care for approval, Social Workers regularly write reports for Mental Health Review Tribunals, undertake Mental Health Act Assessments (Approved Mental Health Professionals) and formally assess the capacity of citizens to make key decisions about different aspects of their life.
* This team also provides a small specialist service for citizens who are struggling with severe drug and alcohol related problems.
Requirements of the role:
* Qualified Social Worker
* Fully Social Work England registered
* Must have substantial post-qualified experience in an adult mental health setting.
