Job Description:
Robert Half Finance and Accounting are currently looking to recruit a Financial Accountant to join an exciting Professional Services company experiencing huge growth based in Bristol. For the right person the client is offering a very competitive:
£50,000 - £55,000 plus bonus and hybrid remote working
Role responsibilities will include but not limited to
* Oversee the monthly accounting close cycle in accordance with established procedures and guidelines
* Maintain robust and compliant controls & processes to ensure accurate reporting of both the P&L and Balance Sheet
* Lead the annual preparation of statutory financial statements for the business ensuring compliant and timely filing and provide assistance/guidance on other smaller UK entities
* Primary point of contact for the external auditors
* Assist Finance and Business leaders with the co-ordination and accounting for new businesses, contracts, processes and accounting standards
* Provide monthly and quarterly reporting/analysis on the financial position of the business
* Provide support and input to wider finance team goals and objectives and participate in initiatives that will benefit the business
Person specification:
* Professional accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA)
* Significant experience in preparation of Statutory Financial Statements
* Knowledge of complex accounting systems and reporting applications
* Compliance Focused
* Strong attention to detail
* Able to build positive relationships and focus on customer satisfaction
