Lift Technician
Location: London
Salary: £60,000 – £65,000
Are you a skilled Lift Technician/Tester seeking an exciting new opportunity in the industry? If your answer is yes, we want to speak with you today!
We are a renowned and established Lift Service, Installation, and Repair company. Due to our continuously expanding portfolio, we are seeking a talented Lift Technician to join our team in the London area.
Responsibilities of the successful Lift Technician:
* Provide expert technical support to the entire business.
* Assist engineers with technical issues and liaise with manufacturers when necessary.
* Communicate technical information effectively to key stakeholders.
* Test lifts for modernization projects and new installations.
* Attend and rectify breakdowns and faults.
* Generate detailed technical reports and maintain accurate records.
* Liaise with site personnel to assess lift status and notify affected parties.
* Ensure the electrical safety of lifts.
* Commission lifts according to specification parameters and complete necessary documentation.
* Record abnormalities for corrective action or risk assessments.
* Conduct final inspections and sign off on documentation.
* Participate in quality and technical issue meetings.
* Ensure lift well security and safety during commissioning/testing.
* Report lift conditions to the Project Manager and provide snagging lists to fitters/supervisors.
* Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain positive client relationships.
Key Requirements of the successful Lift Technician:
* NVQ4 within Lift Engineering or equivalent.
* NVQ3 within Lift Engineering is essential.
* Full UK Driving License.
* Experience on Schindler or Thyssenkrup is desirable but not compulsory
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
* Proven experience as a Lift Technician or Tester.
