Group Management Accountant – Nottingham – £45,000 - £50,000

An exciting opportunity with a growing business, operating for over 40 years in the logistics market. Our client is looking for an experienced accountant who is enthusiastic about leading a team.

Group Management Accountant Responsibilities:
* Managing and developing a small finance team of 3
* Prepare and create management accounts, including P&L for multiple sites, including consolidation, detailed variance analysis and commentary
* Sales analysis and cost breakdown
* Journals, accruals and prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations
* Internal and External reporting
* WIP / Stock management and reconciliations
* Statutory accounts and audit preparation
* Projects – continuous improvements
* Support with the implementation of a new system
Required Skills & Experience:

* CIMA/ACCA Qualified
* Leadership, coaching and mentoring – enthusiastic leader
* Ability to handle multiple task priorities
* Continuous improvement mindset
* Previous experience in distribution, logistics or transport industry would be advantageous
