We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) Accountant to join our client located in Est Sussex temporarily to cover maternity leave.

Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and analyse financial reports, budgets, and forecasts
* Provide detailed variance analysis and financial insights to support business decisions
* Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
* Collaborate with various departments to gather financial data and provide financial guidance
* Monitor key performance indicators and identify areas for improvement
* Support the month-end and year-end close processes
* Participate in ad-hoc financial projects and analysis as needed
About You:
* Proven experience as an FP&A Accountant or similar role
* Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
* Proficient in financial modeling and forecasting
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and financial software
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Available to start in August and commit to 6 months as a minimum
* Hybrid working
