Job Description:
Assistant Finance Manager
6 Month Contract
Hybrid Working
£45,000 - £55,000 Salary
Halliday Marx have partnered with a growing charity seeking an Assistant Finance Manager on an initial 6 month basis with the chance to go permanent.
Responsibilities:
* Reporting in the Finance Director
* Assisting in producing the management accounts
* Dealing with housing benefits, local authority invoicing rents and service charges
* Strong all round accounting skills
* Accounts payable and accounts receivable duties
* Producing the payroll
* Bank reconciliations
* Adhoc accounting jobs as required
Requirements
* A team player with the confidence to coach others
* Excellent communication skills
* Good people skills and ability to get on with everyone on the team
* Experience working in a housing association including knowledge of housing benefits, local authority invoicing rents and service charges
