We are looking for a Greek speaking candidate with some banking experience to join this Private Bank in London, where you will support a team of Greek Private Bankers, who deal with both Greek and English speaking clients with both investments and their lending needs.
You will assist with the administration for the bankers to include all banking related matters.
This includes the organisation and implementation of bank transfers and payments, foreign exchange administration, the monitoring and fixing of bank deposits, and the processing of purchases and sales of securities.
Responsible for client interaction and liaison with offshore subsidiaries.
Inputting of payments, deposits, loans, FX deals and transfers on the in house system, inputting of securities transactions into Mercury system
Opening of new accounts, ensure the client file is complete and all forms and due diligence are properly completed and prepare the client approval form
Retrieval and distribution of Banking Reports from GED (internal system)
Assisting with the preparation of Credit Applications and liaising with the Credit department on an ongoing basis
Obtain ad-hoc valuations of clients’ investment portfolios and, if required, prepare a consolidated position of their business with the Bank
Assist in the travel arrangements and preparation of the Managers business trips and ensure all documentation and forms required during the trip are packed
Dealing with clients’ correspondence and ensure execution of client payment instructions
Liaise with offshore department for payments and transfers of capital and settlement of annual fees/expenses for clients.
Updating Jupiter marketing system on a regular basis
Preparation of cash for collection and receipt, order new and replacement cheque books, monitor activity on accounts on a daily basis.
Preparation for meetings with clients, preparation of expenses, answer calls and take messages, various duties and projects.
To apply you must have relevant banking experience ideally a couple of years but they will consider someone with just one years banking experience.
