Description
You will be supporting the Senior Payroll Manager with training, overseeing and mentoring a team of 3 Payroll Officers. This is a hands on role so you will still be responsible for processing your own payrolls for various clients. Your duties will include, but will not be limited to:
* Supporting with training more junior members of the payroll team
* Acting as a point of escalation for complex payroll queries
* Producing various payrolls from cradle to grave
* Carrying out manual calculations
* Processing P45s, P46s, P11Ds
* Calculating maternity, paternity and sickness pay.
* Running various payroll reports
* Liaising with HMRC and pension providers
* Processing new starters and leavers
* Preparing year end returns
Profile

* Will have some experience of training, mentoring or supervising others
