We are currently recruiting for one of our trusted clients who are looking for a Software Engineer (SC Cleared/Clearable Opportunity). What You Can Expect
* Location - New Malden (2 - 3 days in the office per week)
* Salary - £50,000 - £55,000
* Industry - Defense and Space Manufacturing
* Work Type - Permanent
Key Responsibilities as a SoftwareEngineer (SC Cleared/Clearable Opportunity)
* Working as part of an agile team to design, build and deploy critical systems using evolving technologies.
* Supporting the set-up and design of project-specific software development environments and CI/CD pipelines.
* Maintaining technical knowledge of existing and new product developments within the business.
* Ensuring work is completed within budget and on schedule.
* Continue to improve the UK’s Defence Software Centre of Excellence.
Core Experience and Skills
* *MUST be eligible for Security Clearance, this is essential*
* 3+ years experience as a backend engineer.
* Experience designing and developing high quality software products using Java, C and C++.
* Knowledge of software configuration management such as Git or BitBucket.
* Experience working in the defence, national security or relevant industries would be desirable.
