About the Role

Base Location: Reading
Salary: £47,600 - £71,600 + performance-related bonus + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.
Working Pattern: 15 months Fixed Term Contract | Full Time | Flexible First options available
The SSEN-Distribution business is undergoing a significant period of change, including a large-scale transformation programme known as The Bridge Programme. The Bridge Programme aims to ’rewire’ the entire end-to-end business to transform Distribution into a customer-centric, digitally-enabled, industry leader.
We are looking for a Transition State Manager to support the Lead in executing cutover, go-live & hypercare activities across the transition state releases.
In this role you will:
* Support and coordinate the Directorate Change teams as required.
* Ensure that the assigned program or project adheres to the appropriate governance frameworks and that all business change deliverables undergo relevant quality assurance.
* Support the Transition State Lead in the planning, scheduling and coordination of releases across the programme.
* Lead on effective communication and engagement activities within the assigned programmes / projects to ensure all affected teams are clear on impacts and benefits of changes delivered.
* Conduct business readiness assessment based on the guidance provided by the Transition State Lead
What do I need?

To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:
* Strong proficiency in planning methodologies and frameworks (e.g. Agile/Waterfall/APMG).
* Excellent organisational and communication skills with experience in the Business Change discipline delivering into 2 -3 project lifecycles simultaneously.
* Proficiency in coordinating and managing activities across the release timeline.
* Proficiency in stakeholder management with the ability to identify and resolve conflicts in stakeholder priorities.
* Strong problem-solving and forecasting skills.
* Excellent planning and time management skills, with strong attention to detail.
