Job Title: Senior Insurance Technician - Reinsurance
Base Location: This role is based out of the client site In Milton Keynes or in the city of the London however can be fully remote if required. This role would involve travelling to the office once a month.
Work Pattern: Fully remote with travelling to either the Milton Keynes or London office once per month.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Insurance Technician to join an established and successful Business Services function with ambitious and exciting growth plans at a Global Insurance Broker.
The Senior Technician serves as a Senior Insurance Operations Technician, specializing in a specific product line and providing comprehensive support to the broking team. The specific service line for this role being Reinsurance.

What will you be doing?
On a day-to-day basis this role will include:
* Creating and maintaining data for clients and risks, processing all new business, renewals, mid-term adjustments, and producing all necessary documentation Investigating any issues from insurance debtors and recording the outcomes.
* You will take part in system testing, providing training, monitoring data integrity, engaging in project work, and act as a technical referral point for complex debiting and related issues Assisting line managers with any end of month work or administrative support.
What will you need to do it?
* You will need proven experience in a similar Senior Technician role ideally with a working experience with Reinsurance.
* Ideally a strong understanding of the Lloyd’s and London market.
* Exceptional understanding of insurance market processes and procedures, with the ability to audit and check the work of others.
* Proficient in IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Skills we’d love to see:
* Progression towards gaining an Insurance based professional qualification is desired, but not essential.
