Job Description:
Baltic Recruitment are delighted to be supporting a leading international plastic injection moulding business, who supply world class products to their global customer with their search for a Quality Engineer.
Key Duties:
* Ensure the calibration system is in adherence to the systems or customer specific requirements.
* Carry out product measurements using the coordinate measurement machine (CMM) and laser scanner.
* Ensure that all reports are formatted to requirements and analysis is completed prior to distribution.
* Coordinate and plan laboratory tasks.
* Complete product validation tests to customer standards.
* Review of customer test standards and update of internal testing procedures.
* Maintain the documented laboratory scope.
* Coach and guide others on the correct use of gauging in the manufacturing environment.
* Coordinate measurement systems analysis and statistical process control studies.
Key Skills, Experience & Qualifications Required:
* Degree, HND or HNC in an engineering or technical discipline.
* Works with precision and attention to detail.
* Proficient in the use of coordinate measurement machines (CMM) and the use of PCDIMS (or similar) software.
* Experience with optical measurement.
* Knowledge of manufacturing processes.
* Experience with problem solving techniques.
* Minimum 2 years’ service in a similar role.

* £28,000 - £30,000 per annum.
* Day shift role, Monday-Friday.
