We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated CNC Team Leader to oversee our late shift operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in CNC setting and programming, with the ability to lead and mentor a team.
Responsibilities:
* Set up, program, and operate CNC machines to produce parts to specified tolerances.
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to CNC machinery and processes.
* Ensure all team members follow safety protocols and company policies.
* Maintain accurate records of machine settings, production output, and quality control.
* Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.
* Monitor production schedules and ensure timely completion of jobs.
* Use a wide range of measuring equipment to check components after manufacture
* Make sure that manufactured products are suitably protected for transit
* Mentor new staff as require
* Be responsible for making sure that all manufacturing paper work is completed correctly.
Requirements
* Proven CNC Machining, Milling and Lathe experience is essential
* Experienced with Fanuc/Siemens an advantage
* Accustomed to working in a fast paced, engineering environment
* Must be able to read engineering drawings, set CNC machines and use measuring equipment
* Ability to work using Metric and Imperial measurements is a must
* Automotive, Industrial Automation or Aerospace industry experience preferred
* Proven experience as a team leader or supervisor in a manufacturing environment.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Effective communication and leadership skills.
Hours: Monday to Friday : 2PM to 10.15 PM
