We are currently on the search for an experienced Shift Engineer to join our client on a flagship site, offering an exceptional package in return (Including private healthcare + 25 days holiday!). Our client, who is the largest privately owned building service provider in London, is well renowned for progressing their engineers further in their careers and offering valuable experience. This role will be working for a high end client, on a state of the art commercial property. This role will follow a 4 on / 4 off shift pattern. (Days and Nights). You will undergo PPM and Reactive on M&E equipment, respond to emergencies on site, strengthen relations with the client and adhere to statuary compliance.

To be successful in this role, you will need to be fully qualified in either electrical or mechanical engineering, (C&G or NVQ / Equivalent) at least 5 years prior in similar roles, posses a client facing attitude and to be career driven.

Shift Engineer Duties:


* PPMs & Reactive maintenance
* Motors, Generators (on/off load tests), Shutdowns, Motors, AHUs, FCUs, VAVs, Sprinkler Systems, Pumps, Belts, Bearings, Seals, Water Treatment and BMS Operation
* Carry out isolation of plant and systems in accordance with safety requirements.
* Ensure corrective/repair works are carried out in accordance with regulations.
* Endorse safe working practices, quality standards conformity and best practice methods.
* Organising subcontractors
* Completing logbooks and RAMS
* Reports
* Permits to work
* Raise and close jobs on PDA’s as necessary

Shift Engineer Requirements:


* Fully qualified in either Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering - City and Guilds / NVQ (Or equivalent)
* Ability to fault find, diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical systems
* At least 5 years experience prior within commercial maintenance
* Career driven and motivated
* Polite and personable

Salary and Benefits of Shift Engineer Role:


* £50,000 - £55,000 per annum
