RG Consultancy are excited to be working with an expanding client in the Logistics Industry who are looking for a Finance Manager to head their finance department on a full-time permanent basis.

This is a hybrid role in the lucrative Liverpool City Centre that boasts great benefits.

The Finance Manager position will suit someone who wishes to hold an autonomous and hands-on role with scope to implement and develop existing systems.
You will have one direct report and will report into the board of directors.

Duties:


* Follow agreed monthly work schedules for the production of management accounts
* Produce cash flow and budget forecasts working collaboratively with budget holders
* Provide financial reports, analysing variances against plan in the monthly management accounts
* Support the daily bookkeeping and accounting functions for each entity on an accruals basis
* Oversee the reconciliation of all bank transactions on XERO for all companies daily and weekly
* Production of gross margin analyses and supporting schedules supporting the monthly accounts, by service, customer, contract and location
* Manage and support purchase ledger processing, supplier payment runs and the payroll function
* Manage and support the credit control function, meeting the company’s debtor day targets
* Ensure there is minimal input VAT leakage on expenses and purchasing, chasing up missing purchase invoices or receipts
* Manage the issue of intercompany journals and the reconciliation of intercompany accounts monthly
* Support the group’s treasury management function to place and call deposits
* Support purchasing and financial systems of control, providing insight and suggesting improvements to management
