Job Description:
Role: Payroll Admin (30 hrs p/w)
Location: Cambridge
Salary: £25-27.5k FTE

The payroll scope of work includes a range of duties that include collecting data from T&A system & timesheets, calculating wages on Sage 50 icloud payroll and ensuring employees receive their pay on time.

To be successful as a payroll administrator you should be able to carry out all tasks with high attention to detail. Ultimately, a top-notch payroll clerk should be highly organised and possess excellent math skills.

Primary Responsibilities:
· Collecting data on T&A system and verifying timesheets.
· Entering employee information and payroll data into the system.
· Answering employees’ questions and concerns regarding payroll.
· Calculating payable hours.
· Processing new employees, promotions, and terminations.
· Investigating and resolving payroll discrepancies.
· Maintaining and updating payroll records.
· Preparing periodic payroll reports, including year end
· Operate job retention scheme were applicable.
· Checking P32/Paye returns for accounts.
· Processing year end.
· Liaising with HR.
