We are looking for a Road Freight Operator to manage shipments between UK and Europe. The role is based in their Leeds office, which is one of many locations across the UK.

In this role, you will plan the distribution of pallets and freight to various locations in the UK and Europe. We are looking for someone with a good understanding of European road freight and pricing.

Main duties to include:
* Liaise with customers, overseas partners and suppliers
* Price and plan shipments
* Keep customers up to date and flag any issues such as; lost, damaged, delayed shipments
* Input jobs, ensuring accurate information is entered
* Build relationships with suppliers, partners and customers
We are looking for:
* Experience in the import and export 
* Experience of European road freight
* Excellent customer service skills
* A good team player, who can also use their initiative to overcome challenges
* Experience of customs paperwork is desirable but not essential
