Job Description:
We are looking for a good Account Manager ideally with experience of working within the UK Defence or Public Infrastructure sector
YOUR ROLE
The Technical Account Manager is an essential customer-facing role engaging with a range of existing customers via established accounts, existing contacts, legacy contracts and ad-hoc requirements. The role manages the provision of technical & repair services (both factory based and on-site) and the sale of new-build modern and legacy products.
As a Technical Account Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of customer interaction for the repairs workflow, including current equipment and vehicles, legacy products and other equipment as required. You will also have responsibility for managing legacy products workflow, involving execution of the full bid process from initial market engagement to fulfilment of order, including upselling product and services.
YOUR SKILLS
Experience of working in the UK Defence & Security sector is preferred, but not essential. Ideally you will have sold contractual services or technical products UK public sector (this can be military, defence, infrastructure or utilities frameworks). Experience of working in a customer-facing role, providing quotes in line with set processes, for the provision of technical services and product is essential as is experience of managing multiple workflows concurrently, with each comprising their own commercial format and adhering to differing regulatory standards. Experience of managing the mitigation of obsolescence on electrical and mechanical systems is a strong advantage
A working knowledge of UK export control regulations is needed as is a full UK Driving Licence. The role is mainly office based with some travel in the UK and Overseas when needed
