Financial Data Migration Analyst
Our client, a leading organization in finance, technology and financial news sector, is looking for dedicated and detail-oriented individuals to join their dynamic team. This is a 12-month temporary contract with an immediate start date and would suit a candidate with a strong analytical mind and demonstratable interest in financial markets.
This is an excellent opportunity for finance graduates with a strong understanding of financial markets and accounting, to begin their career within a leading organisation in the technology and finance industry. The role focuses on migrating PDF documents to the DEEP stack over the course of a year. This role involves working within technical testing environments, managing data accuracy, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The candidate will collaborate with various teams to establish workflows that will integrate into the vendor processing queues and daily operations.
The successful candidate will be meticulous, detail-oriented, and have a foundational understanding of financial markets and accounting principles. They should be comfortable working in technical environments, possess strong Excel skills, and be able to adapt quickly to new tools and processes. The candidate should also have excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
Responsibilities:
* Assist in the migration of large number of PDF documents to the DEEP stack.
* Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the migrated content.
* Collaborate with vendor managers and FTEs to establish and maintain efficient workflows.
* Perform quality checks and troubleshoot issues related to the migration process.
* Report progress, issues, and outcomes to relevant stakeholders.
* Adhere to compliance and regulatory requirements throughout the migration process.
Requirements:
* Bachelor or/and Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent work experience.
* Strong knowledge of financial markets and accounting principles is a must.
* High attention to detail and accuracy.
* Ability to work effectively in technical testing environments.
* Strong Excel skills and familiarity with financial software is a plus.
* Basic understanding of data migration processes is advantageous.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
* Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks effectively.
* Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and processes quickly.
