Your new role

Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee the charity’s financial operations, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
* Prepare and present accurate financial reports to the senior management team and board of trustees.
* Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes to support the charity’s strategic objectives.
* Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to inform decision-making and optimise resource allocation.
* Supervise and develop the finance team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
* Liaise with external auditors, stakeholders, and funding bodies, maintaining strong professional relationships.

What you’ll need to succeed


* Proven experience in a senior financial role, preferably within the charity or non-profit sector.
* Strong understanding of charity accounting principles and relevant regulatory frameworks.
* Excellent analytical, organisational, and leadership skills.
* The ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
* Relevant accounting qualifications (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) are highly desirable.
