Air Tightness Consultant
Our client is in search of an Air Tightness Consultant who specialises in providing sustainable building compliance services and comprehensive advice and support throughout all stages of development. Their diverse client base includes prominent international architectural firms, national contractors, and local authorities. The successful candidate will be entrusted with delivering cost-effective and efficient services to meet sustainability and compliance needs.
Qualifications:
* A bachelor’s degree in building engineering, acoustics, energy, or environmental science, or equivalent experience
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Extensive experience in air tightness or a related field, or possession of the CWCT qualification
* Possession of a driver’s licence
Responsibilities:
* Attend regular meetings with key stakeholders from design and contractor teams to evaluate designs and review inspection findings
* Conduct accredited PassivHaus Air Testing and Air Tightness Diagnosis, including Smoke Testing
* Perform room integrity testing for both residential and commercial structures
* Prepare and organise reports and supplementary documents to offer a thorough assessment of design and monitoring issues during the initial construction phases
