Deputy Shift Manager
Vanta Staffing Reading are recruiting for a deputy shift manager to work for our prestigious client based in the Reading area. The client is seeking a highly versatile, professional and self-motivated individual, who will be part of there Production team involved in a dynamic and varied role helping to support the smooth running of there production facility in Reading. 
Requirements of a Deputy Shift Manager
* Ideally proven track record within a fast-paced production environment;
* An experienced manager, familiar with a diverse workforce;
* Conversant with health and safety, including risk assessments
  Details:
* Salary: £34,931 p/a + bonuses  
* Working hours: Sunday to Thursday - 16.00 - 02.00 - with some flexibility
* Location: Reading
* Duration: Permanent
 Role of a Deputy Shift Manager:
* To assist the Production Manager and Shift Manager with day-today operational issues, to ensure the smooth running of the production department.
* Having full site responsibility on days when the Shift Manager or Senior Management are not on site.
* To ensure that all areas of production are adequately staffed, resourced and utilised to achieve operational targets.
* Take responsibility for staff training, including on the job training, health and safety training.
