Job Description:
Purpose of the Role
The Assistant Retail Manager will report to the Head of Retail Performance and work alongside the Operations and Commercial Teams to deliver exceptional, consistent service to both the current and future Brand Partners and Customers of Battersea Power Station. They will be required to work in partnership with the Operations & Risk Teams ensuring consistency across the estate. They will act as an ambassador for the business, whether face to face, in writing or by telephone to Brand Partners, Residents, visitors and contractors at all times.
They will play a key role in the opening of future phases, working with the wider team to ensure a smooth transition of brand openings and general support where required.
Key Responsibilities
* Responding to Brand Partner and Customer queries promptly by telephone, email and in person.
* Supporting in the creation of Brand Partner communications.
* Working in collaboration with the wider Retail Team with Brand Partner/Customer event planning, management, and execution.
* Working in collaboration with the Retail Team and Marketing Team in gathering and collating marketing collateral.
* Working in collaboration with Retail team with creating and conducting Brand Partner / Customer surveys.
* Attend and minute meetings as required.
* Maintaining an accurate and up to date Brand Partner key contacts database.
* Coordinate and raise purchase orders and process invoices.
* Weekly sales reporting gathering.
* Managing a number of Brand Partner relationships directly, the list which will change over time, including day to day feedback for teams on site and via head office meetings, both at BPS and Brand Partner offices.
* Monitor Brand Partner performance through detailed KPI analysis and trend comparisons, to help drive sales and turnover rent.
* Organise and support Brand Partner events for the Residents at BPS.
* Collation of trade report information from the wider Retail Team to be shared with the SLT and client.
* Working closely with the client across leasing, marketing and asset teams, providing detailed data analysis, trend insights and other general information to help support their key strategic decision making.
* Supporting the local community via the Battersea community and sustainability teams and working in conjunction with various entities representing Wandsworth council.
* Managing permit request information.
* Support the operations team with waste management, BOH, security, delivery and relevant other communications to brand partners.
* Supporting with lease compliance matters in conjunction with the surveyors and escalating issues to the relevant teams where necessary.
* Managing day to day Retail App enquiries, content and communication, as well as Retail and F+B specific content/communications on the Resident and Commercial App’s.
* Conduct relevant competitor shops.
* Other ad hoc duties as required.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
* Strong Administration skills
* Good communicator
* Good telephony skills
* Proficient in MS Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
* Ability to work under own initiative
* Team player
* Previous administration experience
* Good understanding of retail, leisure and F&B sector (desirable)
