Job Description:
Summary As the public face of our properties, you’ll provide a warm, friendly welcome, give information about the property, answer questions and make sure everyone has an enjoyable and memorable visit.
Salary: £11.64 per hour
Contract duration: Fixed term contract until 31st December 2024
Hours: This role is an hourly paid, fixed term role. Wherever possible we aim to offer a consistent working pattern, but we’re looking for flexibility as it may be necessary for us to alter this pattern from time to time to suit the needs of the business. We’d give you as much notice of this as possible.You’ll work more hours at busy times, such as summer and the winter event. There may be very few hours in the winter months.
This role is required to work with vulnerable groups including children and any offer of employment or volunteering is subject to a satisfactory enhanced DBS check.
What it’s like to work here Reporting to the Welcome Manager, you’ll be part of a team of 8 working at Felbrigg property.  It is a stunning location filled with history an stories that we love to share with our visitors.
What you’ll be doing Day to day, you’ll deliver a great all-round customer service experience. You’ll be on hand answering queries and listen to what our visitors need so you can share the right information. Your role is to make sure our visitors have the best day they can. You’ll have the chance to be involved in different aspects of the visitor experience, from key property events to social media promotion.
The role is often based outside in all weathers welcoming visitors at our Hub in the car park. As a team we strive to grow support for the National Trust and Felbrigg by fundraising and selling national trust memberships.
