Job Description:
Summary We are looking for a Holiday Cottage Cleaner to prepare our stunning Water Tower holiday cottage at Trelissick.
This busy and unique holiday cottage takes week long, as well as short break holidays meaning that changeover days can fall on any day (except Sundays) of the week. We are looking for a flexible worker who is able to balance their work around their personal life, and we will be as adaptable as possible to accommodate this. There are 5 contracted hours for this role but real possibility of extending these especially in the shoulder seasons of Spring and Autumn. If it would be of interest, you would also have the opportunity to work other, additional hours if you are able to do so in our wider portfolio.
Rotas are issued in advance, and we try to accommodate other commitments where possible.
Salary: £11.50 per hour

We pride ourselves in our cleaning and presentation standards as well as safety records across our portfolio from two person cosy retreats to vast mansion houses. You would become part of our diverse, close knit and supportive Holidays Team here in the Heart of Cornwall. Responsible for the upkeep of the Water Tower at Trelissick, but also potentially working across a wide range of cottages, solo or as part of a small team. Please note due to the nature of this role and the uniqueness of the Water Tower you will be required to carry equipment up and down staircases.

If you are a hands-on practical person with a flare for picking up new things, constantly learning and trying your best, this will be a great opportunity for you.
What you’ll be doing On change-over days, you’ll make sure that everything’s clean and prepared for our guests to arrive. This will include making sure the cottage is thoroughly cleaned, well presented and welcoming for our guests. We’d also like you to keep an eye out and report any repairs or odd jobs that need doing along with replacing any broken items from the store supplies. Our caretakers also have a responsibility to help keep our compliance up to date and report discrepancies to the correct manager. Full training is given on this.
Full Personal Protective Equipment(PPE) is provided for all teams and additional extensive measures in place to protect staff.
