A respected and independent Property Consultancy Practice located in Guildford is actively searching for a self-assured and commercially astute Construction Project Manager to enhance their dynamic team.
This role presents an extraordinary chance to lead high-end development projects, thereby making a significant impact within the team.
The Construction Project Manager Role
In this key position, the Construction Project Manager will be at the forefront of managing a diverse range of projects, predominantly in the realms of Commercial Offices, Retail, and Industrial sectors. With project values reaching up to £30 million, this role is perfect for someone with a combination of technical know-how and commercial savvy.
Key Responsibilities:
* Managing contract specifications and overseeing procurement for maintenance, ensuring all contractual obligations are met.
* Conducting detailed audits and diligently monitoring the progress of each project.
* Overseeing planned maintenance reviews, guaranteeing efficient and timely completion.
* Upholding the highest standards throughout all phases of the project, from inception to completion.
The Construction Project Manager
* A MSc/BSc Degree in Project Management or an equivalent relevant qualification, providing a solid academic foundation.
* Either holding or actively working towards an MRICS (Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) or MAPM (Member of the Association for Project Management) chartership, demonstrating a commitment to professional development.
* A minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience (PQE), ideally gained within a Consultancy setting, showing practical industry experience.
* A full, clean driving license, essential for site visits and client meetings.
* Strong IT skills and excellent communication abilities, crucial for effective project management.
* The capability to work effectively and decisively both independently and within a collaborative team setting.
