Lead AV Installation Engineer
Maidenhead salary circa £40,000+Paid overtime

Key Responsibilities
* Carrying out first and second fix installation activities on time and to the required standard
* Have excellent soldering, crimp and terminating skills
* Working under instruction from Senior Engineers and Project Managers, but also to think laterally and suggest engineering solutions on site
* Working from schematics, terminating sheets, site plans and drawings, including ensuring that any changes are reflected on the schematics
* Manage, motivate and be responsible for an onsite project team
* To be responsible for the quality and productivity of the project team ensuring that the required level of professionalism is maintained
* To ensure that systems are made ready for handover from installation to commissioning, including documentation.
* Installation of Video Conferencing systems
* Installation of Audio Visual systems
Key Skills, Experience and Knowledge * CTS Qualified would be an advantage
* Strong ability to work alone and on own initiative
* Ability to carry out installation activities on time and to the required standard
* Be organized, flexible and able to overcome challenges during the working day
* Very good communication skills
* To have a good understanding of 1st and 2nd fix AV installations
* Have excellent soldering, crimp and terminating skills
* To be able to work from schematics, terminating sheets, site plans and projector drawings
* Have strong mechanical skills
* Experience and understanding of control systems, AMX/Crestron would be an advantage.
* Experience and understanding of Video Conferencing systems would be an advantage.
* The ideal candidate will have at least two years’ experience of production and wiring methods and carried out previous installation work in the AV industry
* A full, clean UK driving license is essential
