This role is pivotal in ensuring that contracts are managed efficiently and effectively, from inception through to completion, and that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee and lead contract negotiations, administration, and compliance.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
* Manage the entire contract lifecycle, from tendering to project completion.
* Ensure all projects adhere to legal, regulatory, and company standards.
* Implement effective risk management strategies and resolve any contractual disputes.
* Provide leadership and mentorship to junior contracts staff.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business, Law, or a related field.
* A minimum of 10 years of experience in contracts management, preferably within the construction or building solutions sectors.
* Proven track record of managing large-scale projects and complex contracts.
* Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Comprehensive understanding of contract law and industry regulations.
* Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
