Contract: Temporary
Hourly rate: £12.50
Location: Longbridge B31
We are working on behalf of a dynamic and growing business, who are requiring a Receptionist to manage their front of house and onsite training academy on a temporary basis.
As the Receptionist you will ensure office operations always run smoothly. As the face of the business, you will pride yourself on providing red carpet treatment to all internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
This is a temporary contract to start on Monday 12th August. There could be an opportunity for a permanent position for the successful candidate.
This is a full time position working Monday to Friday 8.30am until 5pm. You will be based daily at their offices in Longbridge Birmingham B31.
Role and responsibilities:
* As a Receptionist you will act as first point of contact into the business both face to face and over the phone in a professional and approachable manner
* Manage the reception area daily with greeting visitors, contractors and guests attending onsite training academy
* Responsible for managing the meeting rooms and training academy diary efficiently
* Organise and setup meeting rooms with refreshments and ensure meeting or training packs are ready
* Manage central enquiry emails incoming to the business
* Processing and archiving documents accurately
* Update various internal databases, spreadsheets and online technical libraries
* Handle and monitor all incoming and outgoing post for the business
* Organise deliveries and couriers as well as cross check delivery notes
* Monitor and report any facilities maintenance issues when required
* Provide general administration support to other departments
Skills and experience required:
* Proven work history as a Receptionist or Administrator is essential
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Confident, proactive, friendly manner with a can-do attitude
* Presentable corporate appearance
