Job Description:
Are you a dedicated and passionate SEMH Teacher committed to making a difference in the lives of students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs? If you have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS) and are comfortable working with a diverse range of needs, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:
* Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons tailored to meet the individual needs of students across all age groups, from nursery to post-16.
* Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs) specifically for students with SEMH needs.
* Create a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment that promotes the academic, social, and emotional development of each student.
* Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, and other specialists to provide comprehensive support.
* Assess and monitor student progress, adapting teaching strategies as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
* Engage with parents and caregivers to provide regular updates on student progress and to foster a collaborative approach to education.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS).
* Experience working with students with a range of SEMH needs, as well as other complex needs such as ASC, ADHD, PMLD, MLD, and SLD.
* Strong knowledge of SEMH best practices and relevant legislation.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Patience, empathy, and a commitment to promoting the welfare and development of each student.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team and across different age groups.
