FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT
Salary: £250pd
Location: Milton Keynes
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Financial Accountant to join their team in Milton Keynes on an interim basis.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to take ownership of internal reporting processes, liaise with external auditors, manage fixed assets, and maintain reconciliations. The successful candidate will be a key player in ensuring high accuracy of data transferred from various systems into their ERP and Head Office reporting tools. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is looking for an interesting assignment.

What you’ll do:
As a Financial Accountant, you will play a crucial role in:
* Managing the internal reporting processes for our client’s business unit.
* Monthly reporting to Head Office and Group, ensuring deadlines are met consistently.
* Liaising with external auditors for quarterly and end-of-year audit requirements.
* Taking charge of Group reporting, fixed asset reconciliation, and maintaining Portfolio reconciliations.
* Providing valuable project support to the Financial Controller and wider business
Your ability to build strong relationships will be key as you work closely with operations teams to ensure high data accuracy.
What you bring:
* ACCA or CIMA qualification (part-qualified or equivalent considered depending on experience)
* Expertise in Excel and finance systems
* Effective written/verbal communication skills
* Keen eye for detail and accuracy
* Efficient, organised, proactive approach to work
