Job Description:
Our client is an electrical contractor specialising in electrical, fire & security system installations alongside maintenance contracts. Their commitment to excellence, safety, and client satisfaction has positioned them as a trusted partner for a wide range of projects across commercial, industrial, and residential sectors.
Due to growth of the business, on behalf of our client, we are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will oversee and manage electrical installation projects, as well as fire & security systems installations. The Contracts Manager will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Electrical Contracts Manager
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, resources, and budget.
* Coordinate and oversee all phases of the project lifecycle, from initiation to completion.
* Ensure adherence to project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
* Lead and manage project teams, including electricians, engineers, and subcontractors.
* Foster a collaborative and productive team environment.
* Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to team members.
* Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and addressing concerns.
* Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
* Conduct site visits and meetings with clients to review project progress and resolve issues.
* Monitor project budgets and ensure financial objectives are met.
* Manage procurement of materials and equipment within budget constraints.
* Approve invoices and manage project expenses.
* Ensure all work is performed in compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
* Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
* Implement and enforce safety protocols and best practices on-site.
* Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
* Develop contingency plans to address potential delays or disruptions.
* Maintain detailed project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
* Provide regular project status reports to senior management.
Electrical Contracts Manager
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Project Manager/Contracts Manager in the electrical contracting industry, with a focus on electrical installations and fire & security systems.
* Strong knowledge of electrical systems, fire protection, and security systems.
* Excellent project management skills, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
* Effective leadership and team management abilities.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
* Knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
