Our Finance Team
This role sits within the Management Accounts team, which has responsibility for producing all weekly/monthly/annual financial reports. It is a particularly exciting time in the evolution of Finance as we have recently implemented a unified group general ledger that sits above the local practise management which opens up huge potential to develop further our suite of management reports and KPI metrics.
The Role – Finance Manager
This is an excellent opportunity for an accountant with 3+ of post-qualified experience to step-up into a position with wrap-around responsibility for all aspects of financial performance. he Finance Manager role is likely to evolve over time as FJG grows and the wider group scales. However, initially the main aspects of the role will be the preparation of the monthly management accounts and departmental performance reports for FJG , supporting FJG’s management priorities and Lawfront initiatives Group cash management and forecasting.
Key Responsibilities:
* Cash and Purchase Ledger Control
* Taxes
* Month End
* Audits
* Budget Round
* Management Support
* Treasury forecast and cash management
Experience
* The successful candidate will have 3+ years post qualified experience
* A bachelor’s degree and CIMA, ACCA, or ACA qualified
* Current knowledge of FRS102 reporting (or IFRS)
* Have prepared monthly management accounts
* Reported performance against budgets and forecasts
* Legal services background, or equivalent preferred
* Experience of Business Central GL and Jet Reports or similar
* Used to working in high-change environments
