Hours -6.30am-1.00pm ( this will incorporate working some Saturdays)

Are you a dedicated and detail-oriented bookkeeper/credit controller looking for a new challenge? Join this well-established, small fishmonger located in the heart of Billingsgate Market, E1. They are seeking a proactive, hands-on professional to join their close-knit team of four, working alongside a total of ten dedicated team members.

About the Role:
As our Bookkeeper/Credit Controller, you will be a crucial part of our operations, ensuring our financial processes run smoothly working alongside the Office Manager.

Your main responsibilities will include:
" Managing supplier payments and invoices using Sage Line 50.
" Cross-checking client spending and stock levels.
" Verifying stock against expenditures.
" Regularly liaising with clients, chasing payments, and handling inquiries and payments.
" Ad-hoc Accounts related duties

" Early Start: If you are an early riser, you will love starting your day at 6:30 AM and finishing by 1:00 PM.
" Flexible Schedule: Initially, you will work from Tuesday to Saturday. After completing your probation period, you may have the opportunity to work only 1-2 Saturdays per month, with the remaining days on a Monday.
" Competitive Salary: Earn £35,000 per year, plus additional benefits.

Ideal Candidate:
" Experienced in bookkeeping and credit control with Min 5 years’ experience
" Proficient in Sage Line 50.
" Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills.
" Excellent communication skills for client interactions.
" Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
" Excellent Team player with a great sense of humour and Team spirit!
