The Loan Manager is a key role, working within the Operations team and reporting to the Head of Loan Management, this role is critical to managing successful relationships & outcomes with our borrowers. From loan completion, all the way through to redemption, the Loan Manager is involved in all aspects of loan servicing and being the day-to-day contact for our borrowers.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Liaising with borrowers, as required, via phone or email and occasionally in person.
* Keeping well written notes about all interactions with borrowers in our systems.
* Recording all cash receipts on the relevant loan records in our systems.
* Timely production and dispatch of all borrower correspondence such as instalment payment requests
* Monitoring of loan covenants.
* Instructing and monitoring third parties such as solicitors, receivers, valuers, and field agents
* Production of internal portfolio reporting.
* Preparing loan extension requests and liaising between the borrower and underwriting.
* Establishing, proposing, and executing collections and recoveries strategies for delinquent borrowers.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
* 3 years or more within a servicing team focused on Bridging loans to individuals and companies.
* Organised with effective time management skills.
* Excellent attention to detail and record keeping.
* Exceptional command of the English language, both in writing and speaking.
* Natural communicator and relationship builder.
* Outstanding numeracy skills, with the ability to manipulate numerical data with precision and accuracy.
* Strong IT skills and great working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of applications, particularly Excel.
