Job Description:
Job Title: Syndicate Accountant
Job Type: Permanent role
Location: London, UK (Hybrid)
Finitas are hiring for a Syndicate Accountant for a London Market Insurer to assist in delivering accurate, and timely financial information for them and related companies.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare/review regulatory returns for Lloyd’s and Singapore entities.
* Handle quarterly consolidation reporting.
* Perform monthly/quarterly reconciliations for Lloyd’s entities.
* Support implementation of new accounting standards.
* Prepare/review Lloyd’s statutory accounts.
* Post technical transactions to the general ledger.
Skills & Experience:
* Qualified accountant with Lloyd’s Market experience.
* Strong grasp of US/UK GAAP.
* Excellent communication, numerical, and analytical skills.
* Process and control oriented.
As per the above, this role will be up to 3 days onsite.
