Job Description:
Accounts Receivable Specialist - £12 - £14 per hour - Godalming - 3-month contract
I am currently recruiting for an Accounts Receivable Specialist in Godalming on a contract basis. This is a varied role working for a business who value their staff.
Key duties:
* Manage the process of incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
* Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivable data.
* Prepare bills, invoices and bank deposits.
* Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
* Verify discrepancies and resolve clients’ billing issues.
* Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients.
* Generate financial statements and reports detailing accounts receivable status.
The Successful Applicant:
* A good understanding of basic Accounting and Financial principles.
* Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
* Strong organisational and time management skills.
* Proven ability to calculate, post and manage financial records.
* Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively with team members and clients
