We are seeking an experienced professional to manage the school’s finance department, starting as soon as possible, with a comprehensive 6-week handover period. This full-time role offers a competitive salary ranging from £32,500 to £59,500, dependent on experience.
Job Description:
As the School Finance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations within the school. Your key duties will include:
* Managing the school’s financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
* Overseeing the preparation of financial statements, reports, and reconciliations
* Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and policies
* Managing payroll, invoicing, and procurement processes
* Liaising with external auditors and stakeholders
* Providing strategic financial advice to senior leadership
* Leading and developing the finance team

* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
