Position: Payment Solutions Consultant
Location: Leicester (on-site)
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 + bonus
Please Note: This position is based 5 days on-site. You will be part of a collaborative and supportive team allowing you to bounce off ideas and work closely with various departments. If you are unable to come into the office 5 days a week, unfortunately you will not be considered for the role.

Our client, an established provider of secure and bespoke omnichannel payment solutions, is seeking a Payment Solutions Consultant to join their dynamic team. With years of experience, they have become a highly trusted and respected payment provider in the UK and Europe, offering innovative, reliable, and secure payment solutions tailored to meet the individual needs of their customers.
Role Description
As a subject matter expert with knowledge of industry best practices, the purpose of this role is to assist colleagues and customers in choosing the correct solution based on their requirements, thus fulfilling a consultancy role. Additionally, the role will provide key technical expertise in direct support of business initiatives and future strategies.
Key Tasks:
* Provide product, solution, and pre-sales consultancy and support, including the preparation of printed material and PowerPoint presentations, analysis of customer requirements, and demonstration of products and solutions from a technical perspective.
* Maintain expertise in relevant payment and technical solution areas to provide support to the business and its customers/prospects.
* Offer product implementation consultancy to customers, partners, and colleagues.
* Collate and relay technical requirements from customers to the business and assist in developing services to suit these requirements.
* Provide regular updates to line management and the wider business through agreed reporting.
* Actively participate in technical calls and discussions with all partners or suppliers.
* Support third-party integrations and effectively understand the core solution, becoming a subject matter expert.
* Maintain and build a detailed knowledge of PSP partner solution offerings.
Qualifications:
* Strong knowledge and experience in Payment Information Technology, Project Management, and Databases.
* Understanding of infrastructure and integration.
* Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
* Relevant certifications and qualifications in IT or a related field.
* Experience in the payment industry is a plus.
