About the Role: We are seeking a diligent Payroll Administrator to join our team on a temporary basis. This role has arisen due to a recent company-wide pay review, resulting in approximately 6000 employment changes that need processing within a short period. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring changes are processed accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct thorough checks of starter and leaver records.
* Serve as a backup checker for payroll imports.
* Manage a high volume of manual processes, requiring multiple checks for accuracy.
* Handle changes in employment status and recalculate basic pay, overtime, and differences, with backdating to May.

Requirements:
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel and experience with payroll systems.
* Previous experience processing starters and leavers.
* Capable of performing pro-rata and gross pay calculations manually.
* Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
