They are an industry leading specialist in commercial interiors, providing high quality office refurbishments and shop fitting services to a large client base across the UK. As a result of their continued success, they are looking to recruit a QS for Dual Residential & Commercial Projects to join their team based at their Head Office on the outskirts of York.
About the Role:
* Estimating and cost planning: Develop and accurate understanding of the financial landscape of both project, meticulously tracking expenditures, and ensuring we adhere to our budgetary limits.
* Procurement Advice and Tendering Assistance: Your experience in tendering procedures is crucial for making informed decisions during the task procurement processes, thus affecting the overall cost and timeline of both projects.
* Risk Management and Calculations: Assist in identifying, evaluating and navigating potential financial risks associated with both projects.
Ideally you have a broad range of QS experience, including managing both residential and commercial projects. Skilled in multitasking, you should be able to prioritise tasks and seamlessly switch between the two projects as required. Most importantly, you have a track record of significantly contributing to the successful and timely completion of similar dual projects.
Candidate Requirements:
* Previous Experience within a similar role.
* Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
* Strong prioritisation and organisational skills.
* Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
