My client who are a specialised technology company are looking to recruit a digital content editor on an initial 3 month contract, to join their team based in London, Paddington 1 - 2 days a week. Please note this role is Inside IR35 and would require the successful candidate to use an Umbrella company. This Content Editor will provide a critical contribution to the success of our international websites replatforming project by migrating existing pages, images and documents into a consolidated new platform.
You will work in conjunction with our Digital Implementation Partner, you will learn and understand the Optimizely platform and specifically the page templates and features to successfully overview and help towards the migration of different market sites. You will be responsible for assuring that the transition is done effectively, efficiently, and holistically in collaboration with internal stakeholders & agencies.
Essential:
* Support and overview the migration of relevant web content from the existing market websites (CMS Umbraco) onto Optimizely, maintaining the content as consistently & performant as possible, aligned with a new tone of voice and branding
* Be familiar working with a PIM and DAM, understanding the interaction between the systems and the websites (current and future).
* Be familiar with Optimizely, to answer your own questions about using the platform and best practices for the Content Migration process.
* Follow the directions of the DXP (Digital Experience Platform) programme team, IT team and the MCoE (Marketing Centre of Excellence) to align migration with the different strategies in place.
* Keep project on time by quickly communicating concerns or possible delays and re-setting expectations where needed.
* Aid in the improvement of the content migration process by communicating suggestions and ideas back to the global teams and the external stakeholders.
* Be an ongoing advocate for the final website users and the marketeers owning their content in the different markets of our clients organisation.
* Be familiar with multilingual / multi-market websites.
Skills & Experience
* Experience of Optimizely, OR Episerver CMS platform.

* Experience with design software such as Figma or Adobe Suite.

* Ability to learn software dashboards, cut and paste editing in a digital framework, and basic editing software.
* Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to checking your own work

* Ability to adapt to strategies and teams already in place (agencies, partners and internal teams) and able to deal with the internal pace and complexity of a big group, able to work with some direction and within unavoidable limitations
* Strong collaboration with team members and excellent communication, especially in a challenging/fast-paced environment
* Ability to prioritize work and take direction and feedback well.
