Hrs; Mon - Friday 08:30-16:30hrs
Salary: Up to £27,000 (DOE)

Job Role
We are currently recruiting for a Production Planning Assistant for our Manufacturing client based in the Southport area.

As the Production Planning Assistant your duties will be to: * Co-ordinate, evaluate and review the sales, operations and inventory planning process.
* Monitor and review KPI’s - e.g. OTIF, OEE schedules.
* Assist in the planning of a 12-week plan outlining resource, manufacturing and packing requirements aligned to the sales and operational capacity planning.
* Assist the Purchasing department in ensuring there is sufficient procurement of raw materials and packaging.
* Conduct weekly updates on the projected number pf pallets to be despatched from the plant to the warehouse, ensuring the planning output does not overload warehouse capacity.
* Collate monthly output figures to the Finance department.
* Review the export orders and UK forecast in line with requirements, detailing stock levels across the future quarterly period.

As the Production Planning Assistant, you will have the following skills and experience: * Must have previous experience within a similar role.
* Excellent analytical and numeracy skills.
* Excellent organisational skills and proficient with Microsoft Word/Excel.
* Highly motivated with a natural enthusiastic drive.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Great team player.
